Cary 3-Season Room
A former deck transformed into a fully enclosed 320 sq ft 3-season room featuring LVP flooring, a stained wood ceiling, French doors, and a custom dry bar. Designed for year-round comfort with insulated walls, windows, and ceiling—plus added landscaping to tie it all together.

Project Overview: Outdoor Living Reimagined
Kristi and Alex were one of our first-ever clients—so it was a privilege to come back and elevate their space again. This time, we removed an aging deck and replaced it with a purpose-built 3-season room: fully insulated from floor to ceiling, finished with LVP flooring, drywall, stained ceilings, beam wraps, can lights, and lighted crown molding.
The room opens into the home with new French doors and features a custom dry bar where the original exterior door once stood—complete with upper cabinets, quartz counters, and full backsplash.
The scope included:
- Deck demo + new construction for enclosed 3-season room
- Insulated walls, floor, ceiling, doors, and windows
- Stained tongue-and-groove ceiling with wrapped beam
- Can lighting, fans, and lighted crown molding
- Custom dry bar with quartz surfaces + under-cabinet lighting
- French door installation + exterior landscaping and sod
The Journey: From Deck to Destination
Frequent communication and adaptability made this project shine. As the room came together, we adjusted the layout to accommodate client preferences—adding French doors, rethinking window types, and designing a custom dry bar. Every update was implemented seamlessly without derailing progress.
Challenges Overcome:
- Major Mid-Project Changes:
French doors, EZ Breeze window upgrades, and dry bar additions were all incorporated after the project started—with no loss to timeline or quality.
